Oh goodness, what flavour!

In the genre of hot sauces, Swazi (aka Mamba Sauce) is unique - there is simply nothing else like it... perhaps it is because it is built with real vegetables.

Mamba Sauce (aka Swazi) is HOT (but not excruciating, face meltingly hot).

Fresh and fragrant, it is light, 'green' and - paradoxically - deeply, intensely flavourful.

Swazi was created nearly 30 years ago - and the recipe we make today is the same recipe we started with - why mess with perfection?

Serve with Snoek, Yellowtail and other game-fish.

Paint onto chicken and allow to marinate for half an hour before flame-grilling for a taste of Mamma Mamba’s legendary chicken.

The coolest slaw - Mamba in some mayo, with golden sultanas, shredded cervil (or Italian flat-leaf), spring onions and shredded white cabbage of course!

Every year since 2003, Turqle in South Africa have paid 2,5% of our turnover to the Fair Trade Trust that is used for the education of the workers (and their families) at the factories that make the Ukuva and Cape Treasures products. Isn’t that nice to know?
